For more than 56 years the Gold 'N Silver Inn has been serving up delicious all-American classics with a twist. The lemonade pork chops Guy called "flavor city," while the tri-tip sandwich drenched in mahogany sauce, made with ketchup and grape jelly, had him coming back for more.
Guy checks out his own take on surf and turf. In Mayport, Fla., a 40-year-old fish shack getting shrimp fresh off the boat every day, and serving it nine different ways. In Manhattan Beach, Calif., a surf town cafe where the homemade menu goes from Italian pasta to Kahlua Pig Egg Rolls. And in Reno, Nev., a 54-year-old western diner doing beef-burgers by the pound.
